    FitSM is built on four key principles: practicality, consistency, sufficiency and extendibility. Its a lightweight IT service management (ITSM) standard applicable to commercial organisations, government agencies and non-profit organisations.

    FitSM Foundation will certify your ability in implementing effective foundation level IT service management processes. The certification provides the basics of service management with a focus on the most important processes to ensure smooth IT operations. FitSM was designed to be compatible with ISO/IEC 20000-1 standard and ITIL.

    This FitSM Foundation course aims to provide basic IT service management concepts and terms.


    Why choose FitSM over ITIL

    ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and FitSM (Framework for Integrated Test and Service Management) are both IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks, but they have some key differences:

    Online Exam

    Your online exam will be booked for the afternoon of day 2. Specific times will be discussed at the start of the course. All exams are booked with APMG where you will receive an email asking you to register for the exam.

    • 30 minutes duration
    • Closed book (no aids allowed)
    • 20 multiple choice questions ( four possible answers for each questions, one correct answer per question)
    • Pass rate: 65% (13 out of 20)
