NEW IN: 22nd July 2026
Welcome to the first edition of the CPN Monthly Pulse! Each month, we’ll share the latest from the Claude Partner Network – key updates, what they mean for your firm, and anything that needs action on your end.
When we launched the network, Steve Corfield, our Head of Global Business Development and Partnerships, shared: “Anthropic is the most committed AI company in the world to the partner ecosystem, and we’re putting $100 million behind that this year to prove it.” This newsletter is one of the ways we’re delivering on that.
Each section is tagged by role, so feel free to pass the relevant ones along to your team. If a colleague would like to receive this directly, your firm’s Partner Hub admin can add them under your account.
Three things to do this month
For your program lead
- Register your service engagements in the Claude Partner Hub. An approved registration through Services Registration is what makes your firm the Delivery Partner of Record, including for work that predates the program. Log your service projects in the Services section of Claude Partner Hub.
- Get your bench certified before October 1. Training through the Anthropic Partner Academy is free. Exams are delivered through Pearson VUE. Certification pricing is available in the Partner Academy. For information on certification discounts available at your current tier, please refer to the Program Guide in the Claude Partner Hub.
- Allowlist no-reply@notifications.eulerapp.com so Partner Hub invitations reach your team. Admins in the Claude Partner Hub can add new members to their team under Settings.
Certification is open to everyone
For your architects, delivery leads, and practice leads
As of June 30, the Claude Certified Architect: Foundations (CCAR-F) exam is open to every individual at every CPN firm, delivered through Pearson VUE. Training through the Anthropic Partner Academy is free for everyone, regardless of firm size.
At CPN Connect on July 8 we added three new certifications, Claude Certified Associate: Foundations, Claude Certified Developer: Foundations, and Claude Certified Architect: Professional, plus a Claude Code partner badge.
Why this matters: certified people are one of the three published tier requirements, and the bar is already moving. The firms that certify their bench this summer set the pace for the October review*.
*Please note that Associate level certifications do not count towards program tiering requirements
Action: Get prepared for certification by completing certification preparation training on Anthropic Partner Academy and register for your exam.
One tier review in 2026: October 1
For your exec sponsor and program lead
There is a single tier review in 2026, on October 1; the January and July cadence resumes in 2027. Tier standing rests on the three requirements in the Program Guide: certified people, customers running Claude in production, and public references. Firms that close all three over the summer move up in October. Select requires 10 certified individuals, 2 deployed joint customers, and 1 public customer story.
You shared, we fixed
For everyone
Every month we will share something you told us was broken and what we did about it. If raising issues doesn’t lead to change, you’ll stop raising them.
Getting help from us has been harder than it should be, and we want to acknowledge that. Requests arrived through whatever address a partner happened to have, so they were slow to route and easy to lose. Partner Hub invitations were landing in spam, and some of you waited far longer for a reply than you should have. Thank you for your patience while we worked through this. Here is what changed this month.
- One front door: partner-support@anthropic.com is now the single address for any partner issue. Anything sent there is triaged by severity, so the most urgent issues are addressed first, and escalations raised through your Anthropic contact skip the queue. We encourage you to leverage PAM AI in the Claude Partner Hub as first port-of-call, however if you need some extra help, our Partner Support Team is available to step in.
- Faster answers on the common questions: For access, certification, tiers, and application status, our support agent now answers instantly, around the clock. If something of yours has been sitting with us, we are working through that queue separately. There is no need to resubmit.
- A quick fix for today: Add no-reply@notifications.eulerapp.com to your safe senders list so Partner Hub invitations reach your team rather than a spam folder.
Spotlight: pilots do not count toward your tier
For your exec sponsor, program lead, and delivery leads
One concept per issue, explained properly. This month: the tier requirement firms most often assume they have already met.
Deployed joint customer is a defined term, and it is narrower than most firms expect. A customer counts when your firm is Delivery Partner of Record on a Claude deployment that is live and running in production, within the trailing twelve months. Registering an engagement does not by itself make it count. Pilots do not count. Proofs of concept do not count. Deployments that have since churned do not count. Section 2.3 of the Program Guide carries the exact wording, and that is the version that governs.
The practical advice before October 1 is not to guess. If you have delivered work that has gone live, make sure the engagement is registered, because registration is what establishes your firm as Delivery Partner of Record. If you are unsure whether a particular customer clears the bar, raise it with your Anthropic contact or at partner-support@anthropic.com now, in July, rather than in late September.
Your questions, answered
For everyone
Three questions a month, taken from what you actually send our support team. This month’s three came from the CPN Connect Q&A and the support queue.
- Why can’t I see Deal Referral or co-sell in my portal?
Because of your tier, not because of a rollout. At Registered, the incentives module shows them as unavailable by design, so there is no future date to share for your current tier. What you can do today, at every tier, is register your joint customer engagements through the Services module.
- What is the difference between Services Registration and Deal Referral?
Registration answers who is delivering. Referral answers who flagged the opportunity. Services Registration is open at every tier and is what makes your firm Delivery Partner of Record. Deal Referral is currently open to Select and above services partners. Registering a project does not take the deal from the Anthropic account executive.
- Is there a July 1 tier review?
No. 2026 has one review, on October 1. The January and July cadence begins in 2027. If you have seen July 1 written somewhere, that text is being corrected. October 1 is the date to plan against.
- Where can I get more details?
For more details, you can ask these and other questions from the PAM AI agent in the Claude Partner Hub.
What a partner-built result looks like
For your exec sponsor and marketing lead
Cox Communications, delivered with Accenture. Cox rebuilt its B2B marketing and sales operations on Claude: a 7x return on first-year investment, lead validation accuracy up from 18 percent to 97 percent at 86 percent lower cost, 55 percent faster to market, and roughly 2,500 people on Claude Code. Katherine Mohrig, who led the Cox engagement at Accenture, on what the work actually took: “We had to make the operating model concrete, down to almost a task level, across the AI product development life cycle.” The full case study is live: claude.com/customers/cox-and-accenture.
Public references like these are the third tier requirement. If you have a customer win you can talk about publicly, nominate it.

NEW IN: 9th July 2026 – Certification Options and Costs
Lets start off with two key questions to determine why you would use Claude in a Microsoft Ecosystem.
BIG QUESTION 1: Why would a potential client using Microsoft SharePoint and Power Apps want us to use Claude to do something that Microsoft tools cannot do.
Sent at: 07/05/2026
Why Claude complements Microsoft Tools
While Microsoft SharePoint and Power Apps excel at document management, business processes, and workflow automation, Claude brings advanced AI reasoning and intelligence that extends beyond their native capabilities:
What Claude does differently to Microsoft
1. Complex Problem-Solving
Claude pioneers breakthrough solutions to challenging problems that would require significant manual effort. It handles sophisticated analysis, synthesis, and reasoning across unstructured data going beyond Power Apps’ rule-based logic.
2. Expert-Level Independent Work
Claude collaborates by performing hours of independent work comparable to expert-level output, expanding what your team can accomplish without expanding headcount. This is particularly valuable for:
- Financial analysis and modelling with audit trails
- Legal document review and contract analysis
- Complex data interpretation and insights generation
3. Cross-Application Context
Claude handles multi-step tasks end-to-end across different tools. For example, Claude can read and analyse Excel workbooks, synthesize findings, and generate presentation content in PowerPoint maintaining context and consistency that would require manual effort to orchestrate in Power Apps.
4. Advanced Safety & Reliability
Claude offers industry-leading safety features including:
- Lowest hallucination rates (industry benchmark)
- Resistance to prompt injection attacks
- Enterprise-grade security and data privacy
- By default, Claude does not train on your data or chats
5. Development
For technical teams, Claude Code accelerates development by 2-10x, enabling teams to take on significantly more ambitious projects and modernize legacy systems more rapidly than traditional Power Apps custom development.
Practical Integration Scenario
A client using SharePoint and Power Apps might employ Claude to:
- Summarize complex documents stored in SharePoint
- Extract and analyse structured insights from unstructured data
- Generate drafts of business documents (specs, memos, analyses) that Power Apps workflows then route and manage
- Code modern systems faster through Claude Code, reducing implementation time
In essence, Microsoft tools handle workflow orchestration and process management, while Claude handles intelligent analysis, reasoning, and content generation creating a complementary partnership rather than replacement.
BIG QUESTION 2: List specific scenarios where Claude could be used to enhance a Microsoft SharePoint 365 issue that Microsoft would struggle with.
Sent at: 07/06/2026
Specific Scenarios: Claude Beyond SharePoint 365 Capabilities
While Microsoft SharePoint 365 and Power Apps excel at document management, workflow automation, and business process orchestration, Claude delivers advanced AI reasoning and independent expert-level work that goes beyond their native capabilities. Here are concrete scenarios:
1. Financial Analysis & Modelling with Audit Trails
The Challenge: SharePoint stores financial data; Power Apps can trigger workflows. But neither can independently analyse complex financial models, identify anomalies, or model multi-scenario “what-if” analyses.
What Claude Does:
- Reads Excel workbooks stored in SharePoint
- Performs sophisticated financial analysis (variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, budget reconciliation)
- Maintains full transparency through cell-level citations and change tracking
- Creates new models with formula integrity preserved
- Generates audit-ready reports showing exactly which cells changed and why
Advantage: No manual spreadsheet manipulation. Claude delivers hours of expert-level financial work comparable to a seasoned analyst.
2. Legal & Contract Document Review at Scale
The Challenge: SharePoint can version-control contracts; Power Apps can route them for approval. But neither can independently analyse contract clauses, identify risks, extract terms, or summarize obligations across dozens of documents.
What Claude Does:
- Processes PDFs and Word documents from SharePoint
- Identifies risk clauses, liability limits, payment terms, renewal conditions
- Compares contracts side-by-side for inconsistencies
- Extracts structured data (dates, amounts, signatories, obligations)
- Generates executive summaries with direct citations to source sections
Advantage: What would take a legal team days, Claude completes in hours with documented reasoning.
3. Multi-Step Cross-Application Workflows
The Challenge: Power Apps automates linear workflows within Microsoft tools. But orchestrating complex, multi-step work that spans Excel → analysis → PowerPoint synthesis with context handoff is manual and error-prone.
What Claude does:
- Extracts data from Excel workbooks in SharePoint
- Performs independent analysis (financial, statistical, qualitative)
- Synthesizes findings into PowerPoint decks in real-time
- Maintains brand consistency (respects slide masters, fonts, layouts)
- Passes context between applications seamlessly
Example: Run a Q3 financial analysis in Excel, then Claude automatically transforms it into a board-ready presentation deck.
Advantage: Eliminates manual data export/import cycles and human copy-paste errors.
4. Complex Document Synthesis & Knowledge Extraction
The Challenge: SharePoint search finds documents; Power Apps can categorize them by metadata. But neither can independently synthesize insights across 50+ policy documents, SOPs, or technical specifications.
What Claude does:
- Reads multiple documents from SharePoint simultaneously
- Identifies common themes, gaps, and conflicts across policies
- Extracts structured insights (e.g., “All documents reference compliance but Policy-A contradicts Policy-C on deadline interpretation”)
- Generates consolidated reference guides with citations
- Flags ambiguities for human review
Advantage: Transform organizational knowledge silos into unified, searchable, reasoning-backed artifacts.
5. Data Analysis & Anomaly Detection
The Challenge: Power Apps dashboards visualize data in SharePoint. But they cannot independently reason about data patterns, detect outliers, or generate hypotheses about what the data means.
What Claude Does:
- Uploads CSV or Excel files from SharePoint
- Performs statistical analysis (variance, outliers, trends, correlations)
- Creates data visualizations (charts, graphs as PNGs)
- Generates written narratives explaining findings
- Identifies actionable anomalies (e.g., “Sales in Region X dropped 40% unexpectedly; here are three hypotheses…”)
Advantage: Turn raw data into human-ready insights with reasoning, not just metrics.
6. Intelligent Content Generation for Compliance & Audit
The Challenge: SharePoint stores compliance documents; Power Apps can trigger review workflows. But neither can independently draft compliance narratives, audit justifications, or policy interpretations based on organizational context.
What Claude Does:
- Reads compliance policies, regulations, and organizational history from SharePoint
- Generates audit-ready narratives explaining how processes align with requirements
- Drafts policy interpretations with citations to source regulations
- Creates gap-closure documentation with reasoning
Advantage: Compress weeks of compliance documentation into hours of expert-level writing.
7. Strategic Summarization for Leadership
The Challenge: Power Apps can aggregate metadata; SharePoint can organize documents. But neither can independently reason about strategic implications across customer feedback, market data, and competitive intelligence.
What Claude does:
- Synthesizes multiple document types (PDFs, Word, Excel) from SharePoint
- Identifies strategic themes and trade-offs
- Generates executive briefs with confidence levels and citations
- Highlights blind spots or overlooked opportunities
Advantage: Leadership gets reasoning-backed strategy insights, not just data aggregation.
**Key Differentiators**
Claude’s Independent Reasoning:
- Handles unstructured data and ambiguity (what Power Apps require rules to process)
- Makes judgment calls across multiple data sources simultaneously
- Provides explainable reasoning with citations (not just binary true/false)
- Scales to complex, multi-step tasks without additional configuration
SharePoint 365 + Power Apps Strength:
- Document versioning, permission management, workflow triggers
- Structured data and process automation
- Multi-user collaboration and approval chains
Optimal Model: Use SharePoint 365 + Power Apps for workflow orchestration and data governance, and Claude for reasoning, analysis, and independent expert-level work that extends beyond rule-based automation.
Consider joining our new Partnership.

What does it cost you
The cost to you depends on whether you are referring to participating in the Claude Partner Network Program or the subscription fees for the Anthropic Services (like Claude Cowork) mentioned in the agreement.
- Claude Partner Network Program Fees
The Claude Partner Network Agreement (CPNA), any fees required to participate in the program are specified in a separate document called the Partner Program Guide.
- Trademark License: The license granted to you to display Anthropic Trademarks as a partner is royalty-free.
- No Purchase Obligation: Participation in the program does not obligate you to purchase Anthropic’s products or services.
- Liability Risk: While not a direct fee, the agreement sets a $50,000 aggregate liability cap for damages arising from the agreement (with certain exceptions for fraud or confidentiality breaches).
- Subscription Costs for Claude Services
The agreement explicitly states that joining the partner program does not grant you free access to use, resell, or sublicense Anthropic Services; these are governed by a separate Customer Agreement. If you are using Claude Cowork, the costs based on current plans are:
- Pro Plan: $17 per month with an annual subscription ($200 billed upfront) or $20 if billed monthly.
- Max 5x Plan: $100 per month.
- Max 20x Plan: $200 per month.
- Team Plan: $20 per seat/month (for teams of 5 to 75).
- Enterprise Plan: Included as part of the Enterprise plan (pricing typically requires contacting sales).
- Important Cost Considerations
- Taxes: The prices listed above do not include applicable taxes.
- Usage Capacity: Using “agentic” tasks in Claude Cowork consumes your usage allocation faster than regular Chat because these tasks are more compute-intensive.
- Modification: Anthropic reserves the right to change these plans and prices at its discretion.
What are the fees to use the partner program Euler
Euler is the AI-native Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platform and technology provider that powers the Claude Partner Network Hub, currently accessed by IPSO FACTO.
If you are referring to the fees to participate in the Claude Partner Network (which uses Euler as its portal), the requirements are as follows:
- Free to Join: Membership in the Claude Partner Network has no upfront cost or membership fee; it is open to any organization bringing Claude to market.
- No Commission Fees: Within the Euler platform, there are no fees for processing partner commissions or spiff payments, ensuring there are no delays or manual reconciliation headaches.
- Royalty-Free Trademarks: The license granted to partners to display Anthropic Trademarks is royalty-free.
- No Purchase Obligation: Participation in the program does not obligate you to purchase any of Anthropic’s products or services.
Potential Indirect Costs
While the program itself is free to join, there are significant operational and time investments required to maintain or advance your status:
- Certification Costs: While training materials through Anthropic Academy are free, the Claude Certified Architect (CCA) exam may have associated costs. However, the first 5,000 partner employees receive early access to the certification at no cost.
- Staffing Requirements: Advancing through tiers (Select, Preferred, Global Premier) requires a specific number of certified individuals (starting at 10 for Select), which necessitates paying employees for the time they spend on training.
- Operational Effort: You are responsible for the time and effort needed for go-to-market activities, managing co-selling opportunities, and maintaining delivery capabilities.
- Liability Cap: The agreement includes an aggregate liability limit of $50,000 for damages related to the program, which represents a potential legal risk/cost.
Any specific program fees that might apply to future sub-programs or projects would be detailed in the Partner Program Guide.
What are the benefits of joining the IPSO FACTO Partnership as an affiliate?
In the context of the Claude Partner Network, it is important to clarify that Anthropic does not offer a traditional commission-based “affiliate program” for external referrals. Instead, “Affiliates” refers to legal entities that are owned or controlled by your organization (under common control).
When your legal Affiliates participate in the program under your Claude Partner Network Agreement (CPNA), they gain access to a suite of benefits designed to accelerate their ability to deliver Claude-based solutions. These benefits are typically categorised as follows:
- Market Visibility and Credibility
- Partner Directory Listing: Qualified partners and their participating affiliates are listed in the Services Partner Directory. This gives them inbound visibility with enterprise buyers actively searching for Claude expertise.
- Official Partner Badge: Affiliates can use the Claude Partner badge, which serves as a market signal that the firm has verified deployments and certified staff.
- Revenue and Sales Growth (Co-Selling)
- Co-Sell Access: This is considered the most valuable benefit. Anthropic’s enterprise sales team refers vetted partners to customers who need implementation support.
- Deal Referrals: As affiliates move up tiers, they gain access to direct deal referrals and co-sell support on a deal-by-deal basis.
- Joint Business Plans: For top-tier affiliates, Anthropic provides allocated co-sell support based on a Joint Business Plan (JBP) with named executive sponsors from both firms.
- Technical and Training Resources
- Anthropic Academy Access: Affiliates get free access to structured learning paths for architects, sales teams, and delivery staff.
- Certification Priority: Participating employees get priority access to the Claude Certified Architect (CCA) credential, which validates their ability to ship production-grade systems.
- Direct Technical Support: Anthropic provides dedicated Applied AI engineers for live customer deals and technical architects to help scope complex implementations.
- Early Access and Development Tools
- Early Product Access: Partners and their affiliates typically receive access to new Claude products and features 60–90 days before general availability.
- Roadmap Briefings: They receive quarterly briefings on the product roadmap under NDA, allowing them to build capabilities ahead of market demand.
- Sandbox Credits: Depending on the tier, affiliates can request non-production sandbox credits ($3,000 to $50,000 per year) to build demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Management Infrastructure
- Partner Portal (Euler): Affiliates gain access to the Claude Partner Hub, powered by Euler, to manage their participation, track tier requirements, and access sales playbooks and templates.
- Always-on Assistant: They can use PAM AI, an always-on program assistant built on Claude, for real-time program guidance and tier visibility.
Important Legal Note: While your Affiliates enjoy these benefits, the primary partner remains fully liable for their actions, omissions, and compliance with the CPNA. Any breach by an Affiliate is legally considered a breach by your organization.
This is an image of the Claude Partner Portal displaying benefits to members working in larger groups.
What defines an entity as a legal Affiliate
Under the Claude Partner Network Agreement (CPNA), a legal Affiliate is defined as any entity that, at any given time, directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a specific party.
The definition hinges on the concept of “control,” which is defined as possessing the power to direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of an entity. This power of control can be established through various means, including:
- Ownership: Through the ownership of voting securities.
- Contract: Through specific contractual arrangements.
- Other Means: Any other direct or indirect method that allows for the direction of that entity’s policies and management.
Within the context of the partner program, while your Affiliates are permitted to participate, you (as the primary signing entity) remain fully liable for their actions, omissions, and overall compliance with the CPNA. Any breach of the agreement by an Affiliate is legally treated as a breach by you.
The Claude Partner Network Agreement
The Claude Partner Network Agreement (CPNA) is a confidential legal contract governing participation in the Claude Partner Network Program. It defines the rights, responsibilities, and legal obligations for entities partnering with Anthropic to promote or support usage of Anthropic Services.
Below is a summary of the key components of the agreement:
- Participation and Benefits
- Eligibility: IPSO FACTO has become a Claude Partner, and has received written approval from Anthropic, and agree to the CPNA.
- Affiliates: Partner affiliates may participate, but the primary partner IPSO FACTO remains fully liable for their actions and compliance.
- Benefits: Anthropic may provide funding or other opportunities to support the promotion of Anthropic Services, though these are not guaranteed and can be changed or cancelled at Anthropic’s discretion.
- Government Projects: Specific strict rules apply if a partner uses program benefits for Government Customer Projects, including requirements for independent financial benefits to the government entity and compliance with procurement and anti-bribery laws.
- Conduct and Legal Compliance
- Professionalism: Partners must conduct activities professionally and avoid deceptive practices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Partners are strictly required to follow all Applicable Laws, including anti-bribery (e.g., U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), export controls (e.g., OFAC, ITAR), and the AI Diffusion Rule.
- Reporting: Partners must immediately notify Anthropic of any legal investigations, security incidents involving Anthropic data (within 72 hours), or changes in status that would make their warranties inaccurate.
- Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
- Trademarks: Anthropic grants partners a limited, royalty-free license to display its trademarks solely for program participation, and partners grant Anthropic a similar license to use their materials.
- Service Access: Participation in the program does not grant access to use, resell, or sublicense Anthropic Services; such access is governed by separate Customer Agreements.
- Confidentiality: Both parties must protect non-public information shared during the program and destroy it upon request or termination.
- Publicity: Partners cannot issue press releases about the program without Anthropic’s prior written consent.
- Term, Termination, and Liability
- Termination: Either party can terminate for convenience with 30 days’ notice. Anthropic may terminate immediately for reasons such as security risks, legal violations, or if the partner becomes a “Restricted Party”.
- Liability Cap: Total aggregate liability for damages is generally limited to $50,000, with exceptions for fraud, willful misconduct, or breaches of confidentiality.
- Indemnification: The agreement includes mutual indemnification for third-party claims related to intellectual property infringement or breaches of the CPNA.
- Dispute Resolution
- Process: Disputes must first be addressed through informal good-faith negotiations.
- Arbitration: If unresolved after 45 days, disputes are settled via binding arbitration in San Francisco (or Dublin for partners in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland).
- Modifications
Anthropic reserves the right to modify the CPNA or the Program Guide at any time. If a change is materially adverse, the partner’s sole remedy is to terminate the agreement
Summary
- Low Risk to everyone.
- Low cost of Claude Pro Plan subscription.
- Your time spent learning Claude for Free and becoming certified. Not a wasted skill.
- Join the Partnership as an affiliate and increase your opportunities.
- Opportunities for the Partnership to grow significantly with those going through resettlement.
