Agile Project Management

About the course

The AgilePM framework is becoming a popular choice for many project managers and their organisations. Its iterative approach to project management coupled with rapid decision making and a focus on quality is attracting many to this highly recognised qualification. This is a useful and highly relevant qualification for 2020 and beyond.

Become an Agile project leader with in-depth knowledge of agile principles

The world of project management has changed significantly over recent years. Until recently, much of the corporate world predominantly used traditional, sequential, “waterfall” approaches for projects. Far too many projects were failing, for a variety of reasons, but mainly because projects were just too big and too long, communication and business engagement were poor and progress was measured in percentage complete, rather than business value delivered. AgilePM TM guidance offers a practical and repeatable methodology that achieves an ideal balance between the standards, rigour and visibility required for good project management, and the fast pace, change and empowerment provided by agile. The focus is on developing solutions incrementally enabling project teams to react effectively to changing requirements, whilst empowering project personnel and encouraging increased collaboration and ownership.

Who is it for?

AgilePM certification is aimed at aspiring and practising project managers, and at team members wishing to adopt a flexible, collaborative approach to project management whilst maintaining or improving standards, quality and pace of delivery.

It’s a very useful qualification for those still serving or going through resettlement wanting a valuable project management method for their new career as a project manager.
