About Agile Project Management ™ Foundation Workshop

AgilePM™ Foundation (AgilePM®)

This AgilePM course covers the certification by APMG and the DSDM Consortium that has been created to sit alongside PRINCE2® as an approach to project management. The course is equally divided between the theory of the new wave of agile project management and the practical experience of the techniques and disciplines involved. This is a two day course with one exam, and is the first part of a four day AgilePM Practitioner. You will receive a copy of the Agile Project Management handbook and will sit the Agile Project Management Foundation exam on day 2 of the course.

Target Audience

The course is aimed at project managers who are either adding to their knowledge of traditional methods or who are operating in an agile environment and need to be able to run projects in more complex and scalable situations.

Exam

Agile Foundation exam at the end of day 2

  • 25 marks to pass (out of 50 available) – 50%

    PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner course review

    I attended the project management qualification in December (having already attended the PRINCE2 course in November). Although a challenging subject, I found that the training was engaging because there was adequate time to not only listen but to also give examples and hear examples from other individuals from the class. This aids to help people’s understanding or misunderstanding in some cases and help breakdown the subject into easier chunks. It also helps that IPSO FACTO have in my opinion some of the most experienced instructors in the country, meaning that if you just don’t get something they bring their personal experience into the story to help your understanding.
