295 Battery has teamed up with a local training organisation IPSO FACTO Training Solutions to provide industry recognised project management qualifications. All training events will be run at 295 Battery. See course dates below.  Costs of these courses have been significantly reduced and subsidised to help you improve your career prospects, with a management qualification widely recognised across the UK, and within the British Army.

Qualifications

You have two qualifications to choose from based on your experience.

1: You have no project management experience – APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (APM PFQ)

2: You have 3-4 years project management experience – APM Project Management Qualification (APM PMQ)

Does your military experience count?

There may be many instances where your military experiences can be used to support your understanding of project management. The APM PMQ course covers several key project management topics that are highly relevant to your military experience and include: Communication, Leadership and Teamwork, Schedule and Resource Management and Procurement. Project Management Training at 295 Battery Portsmouth

Course details: APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)

Course dates: 2nd and 3rd December 2019
Duration: 2 days
Location: 295 Battery
Time: 09:00 to 16:00
Exam: 1 hour multi-choice taken end of day 2
Total cost per person: £558 inc VAT
Includes: training, course notes and PFQ exam

APM Project Fundamentals Qualification

 


Course details: APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)

Course dates “Fridays”: – January 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th. Exam date 31st.
Duration: 5 days (4 days training – exam during day 5)
Location: 295 Battery
Time: 09:00 to 17:00
Exam: 3 hour written exam
Total cost per person: £1,369 inc VAT
Includes: pre-course materials, training, audio files, Official APM study guide and PMQ exam
