Using Microsoft Power Apps learn how to create custom apps for your business needs using a suite of apps, services, connectors and data platform.

Build custom apps that connect to your data stored in the underlying platform or online, on-premises data sources such as SharePoint. Transform manual business operations into digital automated processes and on completion run your apps in a browser or on mobile devices.

Power Apps is a low code development tool where you can create responsive apps with no prior programming, coding or software development knowledge. You will require an Office 365 Business or Enterprise subscription or a Power Apps stand alone plan.

The course is structured but informal and delivered by a highly skilled Microsoft trainer with years of experience training the Power Platform products. You will be encouraged to ask questions throughout and hopefully enjoy your time with us.

Microsoft Power Apps is a user friendly platform which can be used with ease by anyone with a technical or non technical background. You can choose from three service options when using the platform: Microsoft Power Apps basic, Microsoft Power Apps standard and Microsoft Power Apps Premium.

Its possible to create three different types of Apps described as: canvas, model driven and portal. Each has its own dedicated development platform: Power Apps Studio for canvas apps; Apps designer for model driven Apps and Power Apps portals studio for portal Apps.

Once your training is confirmed we’ll send you a Microsoft Teams invitation and joining instructions for the course. Its important that you have access to your 365 Microsoft Power Apps so you can fully explore its features and learn how to utilise its functionality. You may find it best to use two screens, with one to watch demonstrations by the trainer and the other with Microsoft Power Apps.
